@Quarl I think I can shed some light on this: Generally speaking, many video game companies do not give a damn about that, so the Moderation team doesn't enforce it, unless somebody just blatantly uploads "Megalovania with extra noise".
The 'music industry' on the other hand will try try to sue you for 700 million(!) US dollars for giving people access to old records that they do not even sell anymore. I am _not_ making this up:

Sometimes it's strict and sometimes it's not but there's always some kind of logic to it that stems from past take down warnings and litigous threats. I've been here for 20 years, sampling Nintendo's Smash Brothers like "COME AT ME, BAN ME, PUNISH ME FOR SAMPLING TOM. I'M A CRIMINAL" and no one pays any attention. Good on you for finding another outlet. I'm not a fan of spotify but they don't seem to care about anything.
Just hit your YouTube page, those remixes are tight!

Spotify is kind of what everybody knows and is using, so it makes sense for me to publish stuff there
Also the YT remixes are more or less shitposts lol, the actual good quality ones will be over at Spotify
