The game looks really good! I'm glad you got to make stuff for an actual game!

I've never even played any Nintendo stuff so I have no idea what you're talking about, but the track itself is really solid!

Lumiflag responds:

thx ^^

Well, to make it short, I was inspired by the background music playing on the Nintendo eShop (their virtual stores for games yknow)

They have really cool tracks that reminds me of the Frutiger Aero aesthetic, so yeah that motivated me to make a track :)

I don't know why, but I love this kind of sampled music overall. I def think you should finish this

This is art

Edit: Also, this unironically is the "best song in the earth." There are many songs people consider to be the best ON earth, but to my knowledge noone else has ever made a song IN the earth. Therefore this song is simultaneously the best and worst in the earth, because it is the only one.

Nice track! But I feel like the ride is way too overcompressed... that, or it's just the classic ride cymbal thing where the decay's too long lmao

Btw, try not to feel like you're not worth it in the future. Especially not because some song performed poorly, not everything can turn out the way you want!

(yes that was a motivation thing attempt)
((and yes, ill probably die of cringe when im gonna be looking at some old comments/reviews sometime in the future))

HeSmusic responds:

I think it's about the fact that at that time I was exporting everything in ogg to take up less space.

btw, thanks. i'm not so good at motivating either. but i guess your intention counts and, in fact i wasn't even expecting a comment like that from you so i really appreciate you taking the time to help me out :DD

bruh, saying that felt very formal, but there's no other way to say it.

The drummer in me loves the non - 4/4 time signature

I didn't even know that about you, but I'm glad it's over none the less :)

Since I don't know you that well, I can't really tell if you got the feeling closely, but I see where you're coming from. I might actually "borrow" this idea sometime

Update: So I tried it and it's much harder to come up with a melody that suits you than I thought. Props to you actually

Kinda sounds like you converted the song to a .midi file and played it

YourLocalMusicMaker responds:

Well, I tried to recreate the song in Beepbox.co and it doesn't allow to put notes with different lengths at the same time, so I needed to divide them. A LOT.

Feels more like a boss theme than a puzzle one but hey who cares lol

You're really good at making music that isn't supposed to be the centre of focus, which is perfect for videogames

The name is really clever lol
If you make another part, you need to name it puzzl3

The track itself is solid too

Lumiflag responds:

thanks, the name of the next installment will be puzzlin3 ; after that one i'll stop.

I make air molecules vibrate at certain frequencies
P.S.: Please avoid sending random friend reqs, I feel bad declining them lmao
