Hi! I saw your comment on my song and I was curious what your music sounds like :)

I'm not very "profficient" when it comes to riddim, but I'll try to give some feedback:
-The bass feels muddy sometimes. This is probably because you're playing multiple basses at a time. This is easily fixable using EQ though!
-Another thing about the bass, you usually want to really mono-ize it. A wider sound is great for leads, but can ruin a bass

And that's pretty much everything. I like the song, I'm just not good at explaining why lol

Linearity responds:

Thanks! I’ve been working on the mix for days now

Detroit: Become human

Oh I didn't know you entered too :)

I have no idea how high the stakes are here (I only ever got past the tryout round,) but I'd say you could pass this round as well

Do you plan to eat the cat?

I'd say it needs way more reverb to really get that synthwave feel, but otherwise the song is really good

I remember listening to Air lounge when it came out! I still prefer the original, but this song is pretty great too :)

Some time ago I watched Jacksepticeye play DDLC, I think I am qualified enough too to talk about visual novels xd

The song is really nice and pleasant to listen to! Using a brushed snare makes it a lot better. The piano at ~2 minutes is great too

Overall, I think you did awesome :)

Lumiflag responds:

yeah, i just tried to add variation to the note's velocity in order to make them sound more human.

But yeah thanks for the nice review ^^

If your music is an experience, people are likely to have an experience. Where as if your music is a journey... people are more likely to have a journey.
